Tony says I have too much time on my hands. Of course I do. I'm unemployed. But then there are people who create sites like MenWhoLookLikeKennyRogers.com. And I think, it could be worse.

Of course, MenWhoLookLikeKennyRogers.com has been getting a lot of press, including a write-up in Yahoo! Internet Life. So maybe I'm just bitter.

Mourn with me. Soon, thinkkitchen.com will be just a memory. It's such a shame. We worked so hard. And it could have been so great. There's nothing like it out there. It's pathetic already, though -- the home page still features mother's day baking suggestions, and whole categories of product are empty.

Obscene Interiors 2 says,
"OK kids - you know the deal. Men take revealing pictures of themselves and then post them online as amateur porn or as a personal ad. However, the most revealing element (and often the most embarrassing) are the interiors these guys are standing in. Clothes might make the man but men rarely make the bed (or vacuum or clean up or do dishes...)"
Am I the only person who has noticed the similarity between the whole Kaycee Nicole hoax and the Amistead Maupin book The Night Listener? The story of a damaged child who fills the emotional needs of adults... and who may or may not be real. People forging bonds without having actually met, and risking their hearts by trusting... but also learning about themselves. I don't want to ruin the book by telling too much, but the parallels are eerie. Read it. (Maupin can really tell a story, too.)

[More about Kaycee]
[people are really pissed]
First was the legendary How to Dance Properly. (For best results, put on the pop or hip-hop CD of your choice before following that link.) Now, there's the soon-to-be legendary (although ultimately not quite as hilarious) How to Impress Your Date. I find I am strangely attracted to this guy...
